Our acupuncture treatment is unique and very effective for many painful conditions.

Dr. Mark Kestner has studied acupuncture for more than two decades with respected experts.

He was named Fellow of International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 1998 and became nationally Board Cetified by the NBCE in acupuncture in 2004.  He has authored numerous articles on contemprary acupuncture.

His unique style of acupuncture is based upon time-tested traditional acupuncture approaches along with a modern understanding of clinical neurological and physiological processes.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE FREE CONSULTATION?

Dr. Kestner begins by listening to your unique personal health history, including the condition that brought you to our office.

Dr. Kestner will then offer treatment options and suggestions that will be appropriate for you.  If he feels that the treatment options available at this clinic are not indicated for you, he may make other recommendations.

DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT?

The actual treatment is very comfortable.  Dr. Kestner has experience with thousands of patients.  He uses acupuncture techniques that are very comfortable and the entire treatment is very pleasant.

WHAT ARE THE NEEDLES LIKE?

The actual acupuncture needles are finer than human hair.  Our acupuncture treatment is so painless that many patients are not even aware that the needles have been inserted.  There is usually no discomfort at all.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE USUALLY NEEDED?

Most patients will benefit from a short series of acupuncture treatments.  You will be provided with a treatment plan based upon your specific condition.
